Dear ESA Colleagues,
It is that time of year where we seek nominations for positions in our Chapter! No prior experience working in other Chapters or Sections is needed. We are looking for collegial ecologists that are passionate about Southwest ecosystems and that are looking to expand their skills related to academic service and outreach. Current officers are eligible for re-election of their present position.
Here are the positions that we wish to fill:

Chair (1 yr term)

Co-chair (1 yr term)

Council Rep (1 yr term)

Student Rep (1 yr term)

Event coordinator (at least 1; up to 2 yr term)

Webmaster and social media manager (1 yr term)

In this website, you can also find general information about our Chapter. But also, feel free to contact me or other current officers if you have any questions. But overall, expect to conduct services related to events that occur during or externally to the ESA annual meeting, which includes, at a minimum, quarterly meetings with Chapter leadership.
